[Accidental audio]
[Kusa's journal starts recording during the middle of a discussion he's having with Yuzuriha. He sounds rather uncomfortable as he speaks to her:]
I already told you, I don't want to hurt you. I know you said you don't mind it, but--
[Yuzu sounds embarrassed but resolute] But I... I don't want you to have to do it with someone else, Kusanagi-san.
[There's an awkward pause, as Kusa struggles to find a way to reply to her, before the recording stops] |

['Lo, have a Kusanagi trying to hold up the journal right so it records him as he leans out of one of the windows in the Welcome Center. As he speaks, more and more birds begin to arrive to where he is, sitting on him and chirping happily]
--there it goes! It seems it's been a while, so I'm not sure who will be watching, but either way, hello! I know this place doesn't change much, but if anyone could fill me up on anything relevant, I'd appreciate it. [Would just ask the birds, but they're kind of odd, so it's not as easy.]

[Accidental video]
[That clicks in to show Kusa at some corner of the park, surrounded by stray cats which're all crawling onto him, meowing softly, and purring happily. He's petting them in turns, and chatting calmly with them]
... I don't think they'd have any reason to do anything, at least for now. But it's still kinda worrying.
[One of the cats on his shoulder looks at him and meows, as if agreeing with him, and Kusa just smiles and reaches up to scratch him behind one ear]
Sorry. It's not a happy thing to talk about, is it? I'll be fine, I promise. [As the kitty meows again, leaning against his hand, the video cuts off] |

[A bit of a muffled noise can be heard in the background as the audio clicks in, and after a second, Kusa's voice speaks over it, sounding a mix between impressed and amused] And you've never hurt yourself doing that? It looks pretty big to me.
[Then, anyone who knows Kurogane should be able to recognize him talking as well] Tch... you just gotta be gentle with the movement. I'll show you. [There's a sort of rustling noise, then the audio cuts off] |

[It shows Kusa at the pet shop he works at, the awkward angle of the journal only showing he's standing there, talking to someone, at first. But then he shifts, and he can be seen petting one of the cats that're currently for sale there. He laughs a bit after a moment, smiling down at it]
I suppose it'd be easier to just ask.
[He looks up, sighing and smiling a bit more sadly] I just hope I'm doing the right thing. |
